First appointment tips

• Upon arrival at the shop in Billericay – Please go to the main cash desk area & let us know you have arrived so we can check you in.
• If it is your first appointment to us then we suggest that you only bring yourself & your Bride or Bestman – Through experience we have found that more people = more opinions. This can complicate your selection process. Once the two of you have made your suit selection then we will book an additional appointment for the rest of your wedding party to be sized nearer to your wedding day.
• Switching from a hire appointment to a made-to-measure appointment – Should you decide you would like to change from hire suits to a custom made or made-to-measure suit we may have to schedule a new appointment as both of these services are often fully booked up on a Saturday.
• Appointments – As you can appreciate Saturday is the busiest day in our shop. We try to run on time for appointments but sometimes this is not possible. We would ask for you to please be patient with us and we will be with you as soon as we can.

Ushers, Groomsmen and Page boy appointments 

• Hire sizing appointments – We would require that all of your Groomsmen are sized approximately 8-12 weeks before your wedding date or sooner. When you book your appointment to size your Groomsmen we will ask the number of men that require sizing. We appreciate that sometimes this number can change. Please let us know if the number changes drastically as you may require a longer appointment than you currently have, we may have to reschedule for a different time and/or date or book an additional sizing appointment.
• Boys sizings – We suggest that anyone under the age of 18 is sized 6-8 weeks before the wedding. This is to try and eliminate as much of the growing process as possible.
• What to do if a member of your wedding party lives abroad? – Should they visit before the wedding then great, bring them in. If they are not arriving until just before the wedding we would ask for you to give us some measurements so that we can put a suit together for them for when they arrive. Please ask us & we will advise what we would require. Don’t worry if the measurements they have given are incorrect, we own our own suits and can switch over sizes.

What to do if you are running late or require to cancel your appointment?

• If you are running late for your appointment – Please contact us asap on Billericay 01277 6511440 or Colchester 01206 571171. Most times this shouldn’t be a problem to us, but we may have to reschedule for a different time or date.
• Cancellation of an appointment – Please call us on the above numbers or email us [email protected].

Car parking in Billericay 

• Car parking in Billericay – There is a pay & display car park in Billericay (off the High Street between Santander Bank & The British Heart Foundation shop). This car park is free on Saturdays BUT IT IS ONLY FREE AFTER 9.30am. If your appointment is before 9.30am you will need to pay or rearrange your appointment for after 9.30am.
