Celebrity wedding Grooms 2019, and there were quite a few exceptionally well dressed celebrity Grooms this year. Here at Anthony Formal wear we have hand picked a few of our favourites. This is where we feel that the celebrity Grooms suit really created an impact or made a real statement. Also, we feel, that several of of their male celebrity guests brushed up rather well too.

What wedding suit styles were popular this year?
Traditional tailcoats shapes were a popular celebrity wedding Grooms suit choice. Selected by the likes of Sergio Ramos and Caspar Jopling (Mr. Ellie Goulding). With Sergio Ramos choosing a window pane check fabric. Whilst Caspar Jopling opted for a more traditional black morning suit and stripe trousers.
Slim fit lounge suits were the favoured option for many celebrity Grooms. John Torode, Rio Ferdinand, Marc Jacobs, Idris Elba and Joe Wicks (The Body Coach) to name a few. Each putting their particular personal 'Celebrity wedding Grooms' twist or special finishing touch to their suits. This created their own truely unique outfits.
Dinner suits topped the bill for Harry Kane, Charly 'Char' Defrancesco (Mr. Marc Jacobs), Mesut Ozil and Peter Schmeichel. Regardless of their choice of classic black, ivory. Even with the appearance of vibrant green velvet, all the celebrity wedding Grooms looked amazing. With Idris Elba following the new trend of changing suits for the evening reception, and why not? the Brides are doing it more and more these days.
Here at Anthony Formal wear we can recreate or take elements from any of the celebrity wedding Grooms. Their looks can be achieved within our hire range, custom made and made-to-measure collections. Helping you to find your very own special wedding suit.
What is a custom made suit?
What does it mean to have a a custom made suit? You can create your suit by choosing your cloth, style, design, lining, trimmings and fit for your unique outfit.
How does it work? You will be asked to try on a 'sample' suit. Then there are 8 points which can be altered within the suit pattern at time of the production. From the chest and waist of the jacket to the width of the trouser.
A custom made suit is a more scaled back version of our made-to-measure suit collection. Having a custom made suit can offer you a lot of choice when designing the perfect suit for your special occasion. Choose from a selection of over 120 cloths, select your lining, melton, buttonhole colour and buttons.
Custom made wedding suits normally take approximately 8-12 weeks to come into us. This may vary at certain times of the year. Once your suit arrives we will contact you to arrange to have your first fitting. If there are any further alterations or adjustments needed they can be done for you within 48 hours.
What is a made-to-measure suit?
With our made-to-measure suits you have full control over every aspect of your suit. The joy of a made-to-measure suit is that there are many more fit options are available for us to use to ensure your suit contours to your body perfectly. The options available are much more intricate, precise and detailed than you can reach on a custom made suit.
From the width of your lapel, the angle of your jacket and trouser pockets to the length of your vents. You can chose from an extensive range of lining colours and designs. I believe we can offer over 1000 different fabrics! Have your suit personalised on your melton and inside lining with your name, initials, wedding date or something a little more risque! down to the hand stitching on the buttonholes. Within our made-to-measure suits the choice is yours. Don't panic our made-to-measure suit specialists are here to help you throughout the process. Our specialists will guide you through the entire process and help you achieve the look you want.
The full made to measure process takes approximately 12 weeks from start to finish. Please note that it can take longer at busier times of the year.
