2022 Celebrity wedding, some were always planned for this year & others, like us 'regular guys', had to alter the date due to covid-19. There was a real mix of suits styles with a real emphasis adding your own individuality. Here are some of our favourites
Black dinner suits
From the glamour of R&B singer Ne-yo's wedding held at Resorts World Las Vegas, Britney Spears and Sam Asghan at home wedding in California to JLS singer Aston Merrygold's wedding held at the Sefton Park Palm House, Liverpool. The classic black dinner suit seems to work at every venue. From the traditional peak lapel to the more modern shawl collar dinner jacket, a black DJ looks smart and elegant on all stature of men. The accessories, although limited within a dinner suit attire, were varied with each Groom adding their personal touch to their outfit. But adding a personal touch, that's a whole different blog!
My personal favourite celebrity wedding 2022 dinner suit photo isn't just a Groom but a family of men. They all looked, as we've come to expect of them, amazing. The Beckham Boys, who all, apart from the Groom, wore made-to-measure diner suits designed by Dior.
Creating the look from our hire collection
From our Anthony Hire collection our shawl collar dinner suits are available in both men and boys sizes, starting from an approximate 2 years old. The boys suits and accessories can be exactly the same as the Grooms or Ushers outfits. The suit pictured here is dressed with a Marcella dress stud shirt (which is brand new & you keep afterwards), black Duchess satin scoop style waistcoat, classic black bow tie and white pocket square.
Again from our hire collection we offer a peak collar dinner jacket. Dressed here with a Marcella evening shirt (brand new & you keep it afterwards), black Duchess satin collarless double breasted waistcoat, classic black bow and finished off with a white pocket square.

Non black celebrity wedding dinner suits
If you love the dinner suit look but want to switch it up a bit why not opt for a different texture or an alternative colour to black? By selecting a different colour or style a Groom can still stand out from the crowd whilst retaining the elegance of a dinner suit. A few of our 2022 celebrity wedding Grooms did just that.
Ben Affleck married Jennifer Lopez in a cream peak lapel bespoke Ralph Lauren dinner suit for his wedding. Paris Hilton's Groom, Carter Reum chose a made-to-measure Zenga dark navy silk suit while keeping his Groomsmen in more traditional black. Choosing to have a full black wedding dress code (except for the Bride) Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer Karen Hauer's Groom, Jordan Wyn-Jones, selected a rich black velvet jacket, a wool scoop double-breasted waistcoat, black shirt, tie and pocket square.
Our personal favourite for this option in 2022 was 'Top Gun Maverick' actor Jay Ellis, who played the character 'Payback' in the film.
Jay wore a Dolce & Gabbana made-to-measure maroon dinner suit for his covid delayed wedding in Tuscany. In typical D&G style, the designer completed the look with matching wedding shoes, classic style bow tie, white pocket square, gold and ruby cufflinks and a matching tie pin.

Within our hire dinner suit collection we run a cream shawl collar dinner suit. Dress on the bust here with a Marcella dress stud evening shirt with black dress studs, classic style black bow tie, pocket square and finished off with a black cummerbund.

Celebrity wedding tailcoats
Brooklyn Beckham chose a classic tailcoat outfit for his wedding to Heiress Nicola Perez. He opted for a bespoke Dior tailcoat. Brooklyn wore it with white accessories to match his Bride. The rest of his entourage wore Dior dinner suits. Ensuring that he stood out from the crowd.
Celebrity wedding lounge suits
Whether it's a light coloured 3 piece suit, as rocked by Harry Maguire. A smart elegant 3 piece suit worn by Joe Swash, or a mixture of the two, as adorned Welsh rugby player Ellis Jenkins. The lounge suit is still a popular choice for celebrity weddings in the UK.
Harry's selected a beige lounge suit was worn with a matching single breasted waistcoat a contrasting brown tie and pocket square. Although he looked amazing I do wish someone had told him to remove his mobile phone from his trouser pocket for the photos! Note to all Grooms, please use your jacket pockets for your phone.
Joe chose a navy suit. He teamed it up with a scoop double breasted waistcoat and a sage green bow tie. His bow tie matched up perfectly with they're bridesmaids dresses.
Whereas, Ellis went with a more relaxed approach. A beige jacket and single breasted waistcoat with navy trousers, tie and handkerchief.

Our waistcoat designs include single breasted, double breasted, collarless double breasted, collared single breasted, scoop, scollop and scoop double breasted to name but a few! Each one has there own sense of elegance & which one you chose depends on your own personal choice. You can try on all of the styles we run and decide which cut works for you.
