Harry Herbert, the late Queen's godson, or should I say the Honourable Harry Herbert married ITV's This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna on 14th August 2021. The wedding took place at St Michaels & All Angels church in the grounds of Harry's ancestral home, Highclere Castle. Better know to most of us as Downton Abbey. Highclere Castle has been in Harry's family since the 17th century. The current custodians are Harry's elder brother George & his wife Fiona, the 8th Earl & Countess of Carnarvon. Yes, that is the same family of the famous Lord Canarvon. Lord Canarvon funded Howard Carter's search for Tutankhamun, just in case you thought you'd heard the name before!

After their church wedding, the couple took a small horse drawn buggy. Harry steered it back to their own 300 year old cottage within the Highclere estate for their wedding reception.

Hon. Harry Herbert wedding suit

The Honourable Harry Herbert is no stranger to a traditional tailcoat within his day job. For those of you that don't know, Harry is extremely well known in the horse racing set. Harry's job titles include Chief executive of Highclere Thoroughbred racing. Racing consultant to Cartier and Racing Manager to The Royal Ascot Racing Club to name but a few. For his wedding suit I still wouldn't expect anything but quintessential British wedding attire. A traditional black tailcoat and stripe morning suit trousers. Harry chose to wear an ivory double breasted waistcoat underneath. A blue tie, mismatched pocket square (a typical landed gentry look) and finish it off with a tie tack.
