Joe Swash met Stacey Solomon on the set of 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here' after she was crowned Queen of the Jungle in 2010. They started dating soon after the show finished and got engaged when Joe got down on one knee on Christmas Eve 2020. Unfortunately they had to postpone their first wedding date due to the pandemic but on 24th July 2022 their wedding took place. Held at their family home, Pickle Cottage in Essex.

Joe Swash wedding suit

For his wedding Joe chose a dark navy suit with a matching collarless double breasted waistcoat and a sage green bow tie. As he had a large white rose buttonhole he decided to not have a pocket square. Well done Joe, less is more!

How to recreate Joe's look

A dark classic navy lounge suit is a very popular look with our Grooms. Keeping the suit colour dark allows the bridesmaid colour to really 'pop'. It is less harsh to wear than black and regardless of if's the Groom or Grandad is an easy colour to wear. Plus it will always look elegant and smart in any wedding setting. Adding the sage green bow tie really works for their garden wedding and is a really popular shade of green currently.

Hire wear

This is probably one of the easiest looks to recreate, and one of our own customers favourite looks too. Our navy light weight wool suit can be dressed using our matching waistcoats. Our matching waistcoat styles include a collarless double breasted (as wore by Joe), classic single breasted and scoop. Alternatively we run these styles in other fabrics within our collections. If you want to stand out then add a contrast waistcoat but keep the style the same.

As with all of our hire range we run extra short, short, regular, long and extra long fittings. Boys wear is available as well starting from approximately 2 1/2-3 years old.
