Jordan Wyn-Jones married Strictly Come Dancing pro-dancer Karen Hauer on 7th June 2022. Having proposed in December 2021 at Chewton Glen in Hampshire the couple chose this venue for their June Wedding. Asking all of their guests to wear black was an unusual request but made Karen stand out even more in her dress.

For his wedding suit Jordan chose a black velvet dinner suit. Worn with a black scoop double breasted waistcoat, black shirt, black tie and completed his outfit with a silver tie slide. His white rose buttonhole linked him perfectly in with Karen's wedding dress which was handmade by Berta. Their guests also wore all black suits and dresses making Karen really stand out.

Hire wear

We do not carry velvet dinner suits within our hire collection. We do however run black Duchess satin waistcoats in several different styles. These include classic single breasted, scoop, collarless double breasted and, as selected by Jordan, scoop double breasted. We also run black Duchess satin ties and sell silver tie slides.

Custom made

With a custom suit you can create your suit by choosing your cloth, style, design, lining, trimmings and fit for your unique outfit. With a custom made suit you are fitted in a suit and then there are 8 points which can be altered within the suit pattern at time of the production. From the chest and waist of the jacket to the width of the trouser.

A custom made suit is a more scaled back version of our made-to-measure suit collection. It offers you lots of choice when designing the perfect suit for your special occasion. Choose from a selection of over 120 cloths, select your lining, buttonhole colour and buttons.

Custom made wedding suits normally take approximately 8-12 weeks to come into us. This may vary at certain times of the year. Once your suit arrives we would contact you to arrange to have your first fitting. Should any further alterations or adjustments be needed they can be done for you within 48 hours.

Made-to-measure

With our made-to-measure suits you have full control over every aspect of your suit. The joy of a made-to-measure suit is that there are many more fit options are available for us to use to ensure your suit contours to your body perfectly. The options available are much more intricate, precise and detailed than you can reach on a custom made suit.

From the width of your lapel, the angle of your jacket and trouser pockets to the length of your vents. You can chose from an extensive range of lining colours and designs. I beleive we can offer over 1000 different fabrics! Have your suit personalised on your melton and inside lining with your name, initials, wedding date or something a more risque! down to the hand stitching on the buttonholes. With our made-to-measure suits the choice is yours, but don't panic our made-to-measure suit specialists are here to help.Our specialists will guide you through the entire process and help you achieve the look you want. The full made to measure process takes approximately 12 weeks from start to finish but can take longer at busier times of the year.
