Mesut Ozil married beauty queen (Miss Turkey) Amine Gulse in an outdoor ceremony. The ceremony was held at The Four Seasons Hotel on the banks for the Bosphorus in Istanbul, Turkey. He even had the controversial Turkish President, Tayyip Ergogan, and his wife as witnesses. The traditional henna celebration was held the day before with Amine opting for a wonderful traditional red dress adorned with gold embroidery and finished off with a gold crown.
As an act of celebration Mesut made a personal donation to a charity close to his heart, Big Shoe. With his donation over 1000 children will be able to have life changing operations. The operations are for children in developing countries who suffer with such issues as burns, club foot and cleft lip and palette.
