Pageboys are playing a major part in weddings these days. Whether its your son, nephew or friends lad we are finding more and more weddings are asking for matching or coordinating pageboys suits. This is not a problem for us. Everything we do in our hire suit range we can offer to match in our boys collection too. We start from an average 2 years old upwards. (Just for reference that's an 18" waist trouser and 20" jacket). New for this year we can offer pageboys full made-to-measure suits.
Boys suits are an additional service that we have run for our Bride and Groom's for many years. It is a service we do exclusively for our Grooms only, as many hire companies do not offer this service. As this is an additional service for our weddings, we are unable to hire pageboys suits on there own.
Below are a few of our pageboy suits worn at our customers weddings. The boys suits are being modelled perfectly by our Bride and Groom's sons, nephews and family friends children.
Pageboys dinner suits
Whether you select a royal blue DJ or classic black dinner suit we can do an exact 'Mimi-Me' version to match the Groom's wedding suit. Alternatively, as Mr Gowland opted to do, we can match the boys suit in with the Ushers outfits.
Navy lounge suits for pageboys
Matching navy lounge suits for Mr Ross & his son
Classic navy lounge suits are always very popular with our Grooms. Often the Groom opts for a different waistcoat &/or tie colour to make him stand out. If the pageboys are the Groom's sons we find that they often wear exactly the same 'Mini-Me' suit & accessories as the Groom. If the boys are nephews or friends sons then it is more common for them to wear the same as the Ushers.
Pageboys in royal blue suits
Our royal lounge suits look great on the boys photographed above. They can be worn with matching waistcoats to match in with the Ushers suits or alternatively they look great with contrast waistcoats too.
Steel blue suits
Steel blue suits are the lightest blue that we currently run in our hire wear collection. Ideal for those (fingers crossed) sunny summer weddings. The steel blue lounge suits are a popular colour choice for destination weddings too.
Classic boys tailcoats
The quintessential English wedding suit, the tailcoat. The classic wedding suit that looks great on every body shape and height. They can be worn with the classic stripe trousers, modern matching trousers or with a dog tooth or Prince of Wales trousers for that real high fashion look. As with Mr Chilvers and his son, we have often found that the younger boys tend to look better with a bow tie.
Grey suits for pageboys
From our dark slate grey herringbone suit, mid toned light weight grey suit to our charcoal and silver grey barberis fabric suit grey will always be a timeless colour choice that matches up with almost all wedding colour schemes. Depending on the age of the boys we have done many weddings where the younger boys don't have jackets. Along with swopping ties for bow ties.
Black hire pageboy suits
Black 3 piece lounge suits were the choice for Mr Ginn and his entourage. All with matching scoop style waistcoats. They really were the 'men in black' when they took to the sky to fly into his wedding venue. Finishing the look off with black ties and white pocket squares (& shades) with black & white sneakers for the younger boys. Both a sensible & comfortable choice of footwear for the youngsters.
Boys tweed suits
Tweed and lambs wool suits are ideal when they're worn in the right setting. They truely look fantastic in the rustic barn, woodland or converted farm wedding venues that are so popular at the moment. A Grooms wearing tweed has a smart look but much more relaxed feeling to your wedding attire. As with all our hire suits they are available in matching boys sizes too.
Made-to-measure boys suits
We also offer boys full made-to-measure suits. This one was made for a very special pageboy called Riley. Riley is absolutely obsessed with Batman. Although you can't see it, the Groom arranged for the back of Riley's waistcoat to be made using a special Batman themed lining fabric. I think Riley thought more of that than his actual suit!!
